Classical Violinist
Aria
Volenne
Where Silence Becomes Sound

Nineteen years old at her Vienna Philharmonic debut, and still chasing the same question.
Aria Volenne has spent the last decade building a career defined by emotional clarity and technical daring. Her interpretations of the Bach solo sonatas are described as “unshowy and devastating,” while her advocacy for new music has led to premieres by six living composers across three continents.
She performs on a 1753 Guadagnini, on extended loan from the Amati foundation, and divides her season between solo recital, chamber collaboration, and a growing catalogue of studio recordings.
“There are violinists who impress you, and then there is Aria Volenne, who unsettles you in the best possible way.”
Symphony Review
“Her Bach is unshowy and devastating, played as if no one were listening.”
The Concertgoer
“A rare player who makes new music sound inevitable.”
